| Greeting is much more than just shaking a hand and saying hello! It is a wonderful opportunity to truly show God’s people His love through you. Our goal is to welcome people into God’s house the way that He welcomes us in. If loving God and loving people is a priority in your life, then the greeters ministry is for you! The very definition of ‘hospitality’ is “kindness in welcoming guests or strangers,” and that is our goal. The book of Romans, while it is admonishing us to behave like Christians, tells us to “be given to hospitality” (Rom 12:13). It is our desire to create a welcoming atmosphere for all events at hlc through preparation, serving and clean up. Come help us welcome others! |
| Care Ministry | HL Café |
| One of the most important aspects of being a believer is to surround all people with the love of God. You have this opportunity in a hands-on way through the Care Ministry. After all, who better to show the love of God than those who have so freely received it … you and I! (1 Jn 4:19). Jesus came to mend the brokenhearted and heal the sick … take Him into the world and make a difference! | Our café is open before and after each service, and it aims to provide an atmosphere where great friendships can blossom. We fully train our volunteers, so no prior experience is required … but it’s always appreciated. |
| Food Pantry | Sound |
| HLC provides a food pantry that is open after our regular weekly services. Food boxes are provided free of charge to those in need. If you have a heart to meet the needs of others, then join us as we serve our fellow brothers and sisters in a very real way. | Do you love music? Do you have an ear for sound? Then we’d love to have you as a part of our sound department. We’ll provide all the training you’ll need. |
| Noah’s Park Nursery | The Kore |
| Ages 3 months to 3 years (potty-trained) Parents can enjoy attending service without distraction or guilt – resting assured that their babies and toddlers are well cared for. This ministry of excellence places great importance on the safety and well-being of children while also ministering to them from the Word of God! |
Ages 18 to 29 years The Kore is a ministry dedicated to building Godly friendships and creating an atmosphere where people can experience and worship God in a fresh new way. Our events are geared towards building each other up, worshiping God, and having fun! |

| Ages 3 years (potty-trained) to 6 years A safe environment to impress the love of God on little ones. The setting brings the Bible to life, and influences young imaginations to be thinking about Jesus. Even if they don’t yet read, drama, puppets, and lively music create a fun and memorable learning experience. We will have your kids asking to go to church and developing a lifelong connection to God’s Word and His son Jesus Christ. |
Video, Lighting, Projection & CD Duplication Do you dream in color? Are you looking for a way to creatively express your worship to God? Join us in amplifying the vision of the church through the tools of modern-day technology. If this interests you, then the HLC Multimedia Department would like you to be a part of our team. Don’t worry about lack of experience, because the training’s on us! |
| HL K.I.D.S. | Gatekeepers |
| Ages 6 to 12 years Captures attentions and ignites enthusiasm with ever-changing themes, exciting drama, traditional Bible stories, and interactive games. Kids learn how to apply Biblical principles to their every day lives and develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. |
Ages 55 and up We meet regularly and enjoy hours filled with fun, fellowship, and devotions of all kinds. We use dvds, testimonies, Bible teachings, etc. We have specific prayer time and have made ourselves available to the care ministry for use in prayer for the sick, hospital visitation, and other areas as needed. There are areas of ministry within the church which are constantly in need of volunteers, and our team hopes to help in those areas. Gatekeepers@harvestlifechurch.org |

| All ages are welcome to ride our bus We provide transportation to the following services: Saturdays at 7:00pm and Wednesdays at 7:00pm. This ministry endeavors to ensure that everyone in our community has the ability to attend church and hear the word of God no matter their age or social status. Through our bus ministry, this goal is beginning to be met. Please call the office to see the nearest pick-up location for you. |
Do you speak Spanish? Do you have a heart to help hlc reach out beyond its language limitations? We will train you and guide you through the learning process as you give of your time as an interpreter. |
| CrossOver | Mop Squad |
| Jr. High youth (Grades 6-8) We focus on growing our youth into young men and women of God and giving them what they need to “CrossOver” into young adulthood while maintaining perspectives of life and godliness. It’s fun to watch CrossOver grow. These young people love to express themselves in so many ways. They’re up for just about anything you have to offer them, and they love to learn about the Lord! CrossOver youth meets every Wednesday night at 7pm during the mid-week service. |
The church is cleaned every week by hlc’s cleaning ministry, which is staffed with people just like you, who voluntarily give of their time and talents to honor the Lord’s house. We will train you in the proper cleaning procedures and place you on a team of people for weekend duties. Thank you for your heart to serve. |
| tenten | Praise & Worship |
| Sr. High youth (Grades 9-12) tenten youth connects teens with God through powerful praise and worship, relevant messages that challenge and affirm, as well as fun and exciting events and camps. Each year tenten embarks on a missions trip to make a difference in the lives of others as well as a powerful impact in the hearts of the youth. |
Instruments, Background Vocals, & Choir The praise team is a great place to express our love and worship to our magnificent God. If you can carry a tune in a bucket (or on an instrument), and really enjoy worshiping God, then this is the place for you. The team meets on Tuesday evenings and is looking to expand. Our hearts are to bring God glory in everything we do and to give Him first place in our lives. Hlc Production Group |
